“Chinese is impossibly hard”
The grammar is famously light: no conjugation, no gender, no plurals, no cases. The real work is tones, characters and your ear — all trainable with the right drills. After 3 months of steady practice you can order food, negotiate prices and survive a trip.
“I tried an app and quit”
Apps don’t notice when you disappear. A fixed schedule, a small group that knows your name, and a teacher waiting for your answer — that is what builds consistency. Keep the app as a supplement; let live lessons carry the structure.
“Online is worse than in-person”
